Quality of care
IDRC / Andrew Esiebo
Some IMCHA research teams worked with health facilities to ensure that women and children receive high-quality and respectful services.
Quality services attract more users and lead to better health outcomes. They supported training for health workers in technical skills and in soft skills like teamwork and respectful communication. They also explored how data from health information systems are being collected, analyzed and shared, and they proposed more efficient solutions. These efforts have contributed to keeping more women and children alive and healthy.
