Amplifying youth voices to promote sexual and reproductive health and combat gender-based violence in West Africa

The overall objective of this project is to promote the uptake of research findings from the cohort of projects “Combatting sexual and gender-based violence and improving adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights in West Africa”.

Specifically, the project will document and consolidate the research results and lessons learned from the project cohort. The results and lessons learned will be promoted to inform policies and actions at the national, regional, and global levels to address the negative interactions between adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights and sexual and gender-based violence. The project will also amplify the voices of the cohort members, contributing to the development of West African leadership in implementation-oriented action research that incorporates the nexus between sexual and gender-based violence and sexual and reproductive health.
