Sandeep Prasad

Sandeep Prasad serves as IDRC’s Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining the Centre in January 2024, Sandeep served in various leadership positions for several not-for-profit organizations, including as Director of Strategic and International Initiatives at the Canadian Bar Association, as Senior Advisor of the National Association of Women and the Law and, for 10 years, as Executive Director of Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights. Sandeep brings a wealth of experience in corporate governance, having supported, advised, and served on many governance bodies in large, international, and domestic non-profit organizations. Sandeep has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa and is a member of the Ontario Bar.
