Neil Jacob

As Director, External Funds, Neil is a strategic advisor responsible for all financial aspects related to the negotiation, management and reporting of donor contributions. Prior to taking up this role, Neil contributed to IDRC as manager for External Funds Management within the Finance and Administration Division. Before joining IDRC in 2015, he held various positions, from plant controller to plant manager, in an important automotive parts supplier in the private sector. He was also responsible for sales administration for a Crown corporation of the Quebec government. Through these positions, he has gained professional experience in accounting, finance, administration, planning, manufacturing operations, sales and management. Neil has a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
