Laura Griffin

Laura Griffin is acting general counsel at IDRC. She manages the delivery of legal services to IDRC and supports in ensuring the legal integrity of IDRC in Canada and abroad. Prior to joining IDRC as legal counsel in 2019, Laura served as legal counsel to MD Financial Management and articled and served as legal counsel to the Canadian Red Cross Society. Laura holds a BSocSc in international development from the University of Ottawa, Canada, an MA in international affairs with a specialization in international development studies from the Norman Patterson School of International Affairs, Carleton University, Canada, and JD from the University of Ottawa. She is a member of the Ontario Bar.
