Geneviève Leguerrier

Vice-President, Resources, and Chief Financial Officer

Serving as the Board-appointed treasurer of the organization, the Vice-president, Resources and Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the financial management and stability of the Centre. Through the activities of the Resources Branch, Geneviève oversees the provision of specialized services in the areas of finance and administration, travel, conference management, information technology, grant administration and information management.

Prior to her role as Vice-president, Resources and Chief Financial Officer, Geneviève was the Director of the Finance and Administration Division and assumed the role of Deputy Chief Financial Officer at IDRC. Geneviève joined the Centre in 1998 and has held various management positions within the Resources Branch. During that time, Geneviève led several system replacement projects and oversaw the review of key business processes. Before joining IDRC, she worked at the Office of the Auditor General. Geneviève holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting science from the Université du Québec en Outaouais and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA).​
