Erica See

Erica has extensive professional experience in the international development and research spaces. Prior to joining IDRC as General Counsel, she worked for the Canadian Red Cross Society, most recently serving as the founding director of its Humanitarian Operations Research Centre after working in progressively senior legal counsel roles with the same organization for 15 years. In addition to her legal practice in Canada, Erica previously practiced law in the United States, working as the supervising attorney for an elder rights organization in Madison, Wisconsin. She also held legal and advocacy roles in Kenya earlier in her career.

Erica holds an LL.D. and an LL.M. from the University of Ottawa, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a B.A. (Hons) from Bowling Green State University (USA). She is a member of the Ontario Bar.
