IDRC seeks governors who will assist in establishing the strategic direction of the Centre; review and approve budgets, annual reports, business development, and financial statements; and track corporate performance against strategic and business development.
Part of Canada’s foreign affairs and development efforts, IDRC invests in knowledge, innovation, and solutions to improve the lives of people in the developing world.
As a member of the Board of Governors, you will assist in establishing the Centre’s strategic direction: ensuring internal controls, management information systems and risk management measures are in place; and monitoring corporate performance against strategic and business development. You will also review and approve and the Centre’s budget and financial statements and monitor the performance of the president and chief executive officer.
