IDRC launches survey to inform new accessibility plan

The Centre is building on its commitment to an accessible and barrier-free environment by developing a three-year accessibility plan. As part of this effort, we are seeking input from all external stakeholders about their experiences of accessibility or barriers at IDRC.

As a first step in this process, we invite anyone who has interacted with the Centre in the past (research and funding partners, suppliers, contractors, government partners and others) to complete a survey about their experiences. Responses will help shape our new accessibility plan and address any gaps or concerns. The survey questions apply to any interactions with IDRC, whether online, in person or by phone.

Survey responses are confidential. The consulting firm Left Turn Right Turn is managing the survey and IDRC will not have direct access to any answers. The consultant will aggregate responses to share findings with IDRC anonymously.

The new accessibility plan is part of IDRC’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity and aligns with the Accessible Canada Act, which came into force in 2019.
