AGRF 2021: IDRC-hosted panel on women’s inclusion in boosting the resilience of agricultural value chains
On September 6, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. (EAT), IDRC will host a panel of international researchers at the African Green Revolution Forum.
The panel discussion on the importance of women’s inclusion in enhancing the resilience and effectiveness of agricultural value chains will unpack lessons learnt from different research projects in three African regions (East, West and North), exploring how each approached contextualized challenges in terms of resilience and equity of food systems.
Guest panelists will share knowledge on how multi-stakeholder approaches enhance the agency of women farmers and their families in agricultural food systems and in the value chains of key commodities, ultimately informing better policy.
Join us in the conversation if you want to know more on what the projects achieved and learnt, and how these lessons can help us achieve a transformation to more inclusive, sustainable food systems.
This event is part of the AGRF 2021 Summit. Register free of charge at www.agrf.org.
