Los programas de transferencias condicionadas: ¿hacia la inclusión financiera de los pobres en América Latina?

This book examines how conditional cash transfer (CCT) programs can ease and promote the access to financial services among the most vulnerable populations of Latin America and the Caribbean. The book presents a state-of-the-art review of the region’s CCT programs. In doing so, the authors describe how these program are linked to the financial system and the main challenges they face. They also examine the supply of and demand for financial services in the region, with a particular focus on marginalized populations.

Rocío del Pilar Moreno is Senior Economist at the Conservation Strategy Fund in Colombia.

Isabel Giraldo Pérez is an economist at the Universidad de los Andes, currently pursuing a master’s degree at the London School of Economics.
