What to expect when reporting misconduct

IDRC’s chosen incident reporting platform is ClearView Connects™, a third-party service outside of the Centre, available for reporting and identification of issues, incidents or behavior inconsistent with our values. 

When you begin a report  

  • You will be asked several questions related to the concern.  
  • A report ID number and password will be generated for you.  
  • You can choose to receive email notifications when there is an update to your report. 

Accessing your report 

  • You can return to the system at any time using your report ID and password to see updates on the report.  

Keeping your information safe 

  • Write down your report ID number and password and keep them in a safe place. 
  • This information cannot be retrieved by IDRC for confidentiality reasons.  
  • If you lose or forget your information, submit a new report and reference your previous report. 
  • The email address you provide for notifications cannot be accessed by IDRC. 

Reviewing your report 

  • Completed reports are then made available to relevant reviewers for action.
